The Zimbabwe All Stars frontman is a down to earth musician who can play at any venue where there are people but Rujeko Night Club can only be suitable to up-and-coming artistes not those that are in the mould of the Mugove hit maker.
This was the singer’s second visit to the oldest town in a space of two weeks. He played at the same spot before a euphoric crowd last week.
Zhakata churned out hit after hit and fans enjoyed every beat of it. He played Ndinyarewo, Gomba Ramarara, Sakunatsa and songs from his latest album, Gotwe that include Tigarisane, Todya Tese, and Chiremba, to name just a few. Revellers were enthralled as they could be heard singing along with the group. Zhakata demonstrated that he has not lost his touch that won him loyalty among music fans in and outside the country.
