LEONARD Karikoga Zhakata will celebrate his 55th birthday at Speedway Joint in Kadoma tomorrow alongside Paradzai Mesi.
Kadoma-based musician and miner, Solo Moyo, is also part of the bill.
Solo Moyo, who looks like Zhakata, was excited to be sharing the stage with his role model.
“This is a show I was always looking forward to, I want to prove my mettle among the best.
“My aim is to grow my brand through such appearances.
“I want to do well before my home fans and beyond that too because my musical journey is not a fluke.
“Rather, it’s a deliberate and sustained effort set for greater heights,” said Moyo.
Paradzai is on a reincarnation jaunt after ‘falling prey’ to negative publicity.
Mesi has reinvented himself and lifted himself from the mud to stage a memorable comeback show that attests to his musical prowess.
Elsewhere, the show aptly sets the tone for a celebrity birthday party featuring a number of local luminaries to warm up the gold haven in this winter spell.
