Zhuwawo faces Amazulu exit

Zhuwawo has not played even a single minute in all 13 games that AmaZulu have played since Rosslee took over with the 29 year-old literally frozen out of the team.

Actually, the former Dynamos and Gunners midfielder has only played six games this season and last played way back on November 24 against Free State Stars when Roger Palmgren was still in charge.

From his half a dozen starts Zhuwawo was never substituted though he was red-carded against Ajax Cape Town on October 6.
Word coming from Usuthu’s camp is that Zhuwawo will not be offered a new contract and will therefore wave goodbye to the club and follow fellow countryman Mkhokheli Dube who was pushed out at the beginning of the year — just six months into his stay at the club.

Though Zhuwawo has been injury free and fighting hard for a place in the team at training his efforts haven’t charmed Rosslee at all who has only included the combative midfielder only once in his 18 men squad since taking over. hilani Mabaso, the AmaZulu team manager says Zhuwawo must merely work his way back into the team to enhance his chances of winning a new contract at the Durban based club.

“Ramson is simply not making it into the team right now because the coach has decided to stick with a consistent line-up,” said Mabaso.
“The coach hasn’t found a reason to break the rhythm with the team that has done duty for him since he took over. Ramson obviously has his contract expiring in June but for now he must keep working on convincing the coach that he is worth his place in the squad. He is not the only player whose contract expires in June who has not been playing regularly since the new coach took over but he must simply work his way back into the team again,” says Mabaso.

Zhuwawo joined Usuthu from Gunners in June 2010 and has only played 43 games for the club during his three year stay. Prior to crossing the Limpopo River to the lucrative PSL Zhuwawo had a difficult year at Dynamos before moving to Gunners where he was influential in leading Gunners to the 2009 championship. — CAJ News.
