THE ZIFA Bulawayo Metropolitan Province will host their annual pre-season board meeting tomorrow in preparation for the AGM that is likely to be held next month ahead of the 2016 season set to kick off in the first week of March.
Among the issues expected to be discussed by the board is the disbursement of the sponsorship package they sourced from Willsgrove Farm, which increased from $3,000 to $5,000.
Willsgrove Farm also bankrolled the province’s awards ceremony held in December last year.
Zifa Bulawayo Province chairman Washington Sithole said: “We’re having our board meeting on Wednesday in preparation for the AGM and new season. We can tell you that we retained our sponsor from last season and they’ve even unveiled a much bigger package, so we’ll be meeting with club officials to look into that.
“The league is definitely growing stronger and I urge other teams to register their Under-19s with the league as we have two more slots to fill to make up a total of 16 teams.”
The league saw How Mine FC Academy becoming Champions in their maiden season whilst Chiwororo FC finished second.
