THE Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced that president, Nqobile Magwizi, will lead a high-level delegation to Asunción, Paraguay, to attend the 75th FIFA Congress, scheduled for May 14-15 2025.

Magwizi will be accompanied by ZIFA Vice President Loveness Mukura and ZIFA General Secretary Yvonne Manwa.
Their participation highlights ZIFA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Zimbabwe’s presence in international football and deepening engagement with global stakeholders.

The FIFA Congress is a key platform for dialogue, collaboration, and decision-making among FIFA’s Member Associations. It provides an opportunity for countries to align their local football development initiatives with international best practices and to influence the global direction of the sport.
“ZIFA remains focused on enhancing its relationships within the global football community. This event is a testament to our dedication to elevating Zimbabwe’s football interests and contributing meaningfully to international governance,” said Manwa.

The delegation’s attendance at this global event underscores ZIFA’s dedication to progressive football governance and further positions Zimbabwe as an active and engaged member of the international football fraternity.
