ZIFA Matabeleland South Division Two is appealing for sponsorship for their league.
Southern Region chairperson Nkosi Ncube yesterday said; “We are kindly appealing for sponsorship for the Division Two league which is already at full throttle without any sponsors and we are still waiting for responses from the corporate sector whom we have asked to fund this season’s league.”

“Teams  from both pools have been playing and making efforts to ensure that the games take place despite no sponsors chipping in,” said the Matabeleland South Zifa administrator Mishon Tshabalaka.

Club owners have resolved to have the season kick off without sponsors while the Zifa provincial body hunts for sponsors to fund the league. Competition will be in full swing this week with both pools in action.

Teams in Pool A have  played  and displayed exciting performances, with ambitious Jessie Mine who were relegated from the Central Soccer League at the top of the table after five outings.

Barca will play host to runaway leaders Unicem FC at Mtshazo Business Centre at 3PM this Saturday.
