POPULAR Zimdancehall emcees, Flevah and Etherton of ZiJudgement Yard, will make a sensational return to Mutare for the first time this year at the uptown nightclub, BarCode.
DJ’s Flevah and Etherton, whose real names are Tendai Tembo and Etherton Mutemasango, in an interview, said the Mutare gig will be their four-year anniversary pre-celebrations party with the official celebrations slated for the first week of November.
The internationally acclaimed dancehall and reggae sound movement will hold a series of shows in Australia, China and Botswana to popularise their ever-growing brand.
“We ended our romance with Mutare last year and we are glad to be back. We applaud the support we get whenever we perform there. We continue to be a bigger and better brand, thanks to the overwhelming encouragement e get from our supporters there,” said DJ Flevah.
BarCode spokeperson, Brian Mavhiza, popularly known as DJ Stylez, said they bowed down to patrons’ pressure to bring the duo to the leisure centre.
“We always aim at pleasing our patrons and bring the best to our joint. We decided to bring Zi-Judgement as an early Christmas present after many revellers requested for the popular chanters,” said DJ Stylez.
Last year, ZiJudgement’s put up a top-drawer performance when they performed at the same joint.
