FROM Amakhosi Theatre to featuring in South Africa’s biggest soapies, Ntokozo Ndlovu (24) is on his way to the big stage.

He’s a noticeable face in soapies such as Skeem Saam, Isidingo and Isithembiso although playing bit parts.

About his breakthrough, Ndlovu told B-Metro that he didn’t struggle to get noticed in the cut-throat South African showbiz scene.

“When I got to South Africa I didn’t struggle to get a role. I was told to send a picture to the Skeem Saam reception and the following morning I received a call from the soapie’s production team,” he said.

He’s not only confined to the small screen, he has also done music videos featuring in Mafikizolo’s video for the song Ofana Nawe alongside Nigeria’s celebrated musician Yemi Alade.

Back home, he still commands respect as such he will play a leading role in Amakhosi Productions’ Esigabeni which is part of Zambezi Shangani Series short films.

He is also set to show his face in Amakhosi talk show titled, Let’s Talk Love, a production by Amakhosi’s artistic directors Charles Musunga and Charles Gurure.

Ndlovu is eyeing a character in Dlala Ngamla which airs on ZBCtv.

“I came back because I was called by Amakhosi to come and act in the Zambezi Shangani Series. I will be going back to South Africa after I’m finished with my shoots here in Zimbabwe and I will be featuring in Esigabeni so this is one of my biggest projects. I’m also expecting to get a role in Dlala Ngamla,” he said.
