Zim actor shines in South Africa

BULAWAYO-based actor Crispen Nkosiyapha Nyathi won the outstanding supporting actor award for his role as Pastor Charleston in Diep City at the Royalty Soapie Awards 2024 in South Africa.

Nyathi started his acting journey when he was in Grade 5 at Hillside Primary School in Bulawayo. He has been playing a role as Pastor Charleston in the famous Mzansi Magic tele nova, Diep City.

Over the course of Diep City, Nyathi is aiming to solidify a reputation as one of the biggest actors on the small screen.

Crispen recently shared a video on social media thanking all his fans around the world for supporting him through his journey as an actor.

‘’We all winners, but the real winner walks away with the award.

‘’I am filled with gratitude, gratitude to those that have used their time and resources to vote for me.”
