Chronicle EditorZIMBABWE’S campaign for a place at the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament will get underway today when they take on Namibia at the Africa regional qualifier event in Windhoek.
The match is scheduled to start at 1345 hours at the Wanderers Cricket Club in the Namibian capital. Five teams – Zimbabwe, Namibia, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda – are taking part in the Africa regional event.
After playing the hosts, Zimbabwe will face Tanzania tomorrow in yet another afternoon match.
Then the Zimbabweans will battle Kenya on Tuesday (10am), before they entertain Uganda on Wednesday (1345 hours). Friday will see the fourth-fifth and second-third play-offs. — zimcricket/cricinfo
