KIDS aged between five and 12 years will pay US$5 to attend the 2022 edition of the annual Zimbabwe Colour Carnival, event organisers say.

In a statement, the organisers said they were looking forward to a bigger and better event at Borrowdale Race Course on October 29.

The fun-filled event, whereby participants will apply face paint to look colourful, is popular with school-going kids and adults.

“The Zimbabwe Colour Carnival returns to Borrowdale Race Course on October 29.

“It’s a family fun day where families and friends come together to do Zumba, exercise, take part in a 5km run and socialise.

“Popular DJs will be on rotation at the annual event to ensure that we add variety.

“Colour Carnival is the theme.

“The response has been awesome with people buying tickets more than we expected,” reads part of the statement.

The carnival organisers revealed that they were targeting families with children’s games set to dominate the day.

“Children’s games will dominate the event and a musical show will be held later where surprise acts are set to take part.

“We expect the 2022 edition to bring families together and you get to relax, interact and enjoy many things.

“Tickets are available at Quantum Plastics, Focal Point, Medorange Pharmaceuticals, Gunhill Medical Village, Zimticket, Boss Max and Edgemu Investments,” added the statement.
