Officially closing the SARPCCO Games, Tanzanian Home Affairs permanent secretary, Christopher Kadio, urged members to continue using sport, as a tool to fight transnational crimes.
“I would like to urge SARPCCO members to continue uniting through sports as a tool in exchanging intelligence so as to fight transnational crimes,” said Kadio.
“Let us not use force, but use better ways like sport, in fighting transnational crimes.
“In times of pandemics, let us all adhere to World Health Organisation regulations.
“I wish you all safe travel after your two-week camp for the Games,” he said.
The next SARPCCO Games will be held in 2025.
Team Zimbabwe is expected home today.
