MUSICIAN Tadiwa “Tahtah” Chamboko continues to pursue her dream to become a Starbrite talent show winner.
She has powered into the finals for this season after failing to make it last time.
Tahtah, a passionate musician, failed to reach the semi-finals of the talent show last season.
But, this season, she is among the five finalists.
The finals will take place on September 23.
Tahtah could not hide her joy as she narrated her Starbrite journey.
“I’m a Starbrite Season 10 finalist. I’m so excited being the only standing female contestant from Harare.
“This is my second time being part of Starbrite. I was part of Season Nine, but I didn’t manage to reach the semi-finals.
“Come Season 10, I’m a finalist and I’m so very excited.
“It wasn’t an easy journey for me to get to the finals due to the competition that was tough with so many talented young girls and boys.
“I would like to thank my loyal fans, who have so much trust in me, when it comes to music.
“They encourage me all the time and I promise not to let them down.”
Tahtah said she was expecting to win the prize.
“Obviously, I’m expecting to win, but if the truth be told, all the remaining finalists are very talented and it’s not going to be easy.
“However, I will do my best and God will do the rest,” she told H-Metro.
Tahtah hailed the Starbrite talent show for believing in her.
“I would like to thank Starbrite for believing in me and my talent up to this stage.
“I have learnt a lot these past two years, I was part of the competition.
“Everything they do, and say, is relevant and helpful.
“I truly appreciate all that Starbrite has invested in me through knowledge and skills.
“I’m certain that as I’m about to embark on the music journey I will surely implement all the knowledge and skills I gained during the boot-camps.
“All thanks to Mr Barney Mupariwa, coach T.B and the rest of the crew,” she said.
