ZIMBABWE’S representation in one of Africa’s premier reality show, Big Brother Africa The Chase is in jeopardy, as both Hakeem and Pokello are facing eviction. This follows the replacement and nomination of Pokello and Hakeem, respectively. Pokello was not up for eviction, but was swapped by the Head of the House (HoH), Feza from Tanzania. The Zimbabwean hunk Hakeem got one of the highest number of nominations that made him eligible for eviction.

Rubies HoH, Feza, chose to save Sulu (Malawi) and replaced him with Pokello. This could be a beef that Feza has against the queen of swag. Pokello is very close with Ghanaian housemate Elikem, who happened to be Feza’s first crush. Putting her on the chopping board could be her way of getting back at her.

This means that the Zimbabwean vote has been divided and only one person is getting the Zimbabwean vote.
This was the case when Angola’s two housemates Biguesas and Neyll were up for eviction. They both went home. Like Pokello, Neyll was replaced and this was his Waterloo.

It seems all the housemates that were swapped, except for Malawi’s Natasha were evicted from Biggy’s two houses. Natasha was last Monday swapped by the Sierra Leonean Bassey, but was eventually saved by Africa. Another victim of the swap was South Africa’s Koketso.

Though there have been calls from social networks to vote for both Pokello and Hakeem to stay in the house, this will be foolhardy. Zimbabweans should run with Pokello, while they bank on the Zambians to vote for their “son-in-law,” Hakeem.

This will make the two Zimbabweans have one country vote each and then they have to bank on countries like Nigeria, Sierra Leon, South Africa and Botswana.

These are some of the countries that saved Pokello when she was up for eviction two weeks ago.
The Zimbabwean socialite even got the Rest of Africa (ROA) vote. Hakeem also got the same vote, but failed to garner countries that Pokello got. Hakeem managed to attract six country votes.

Zimbabweans stand a relative chance to come out unscathed in this encounter, because they are facing eviction together with housemates that are not as strong as them. They are facing the chop together weaker housemates like Annabel (Kenya), Anna (Namibia) and Bolt (Sierra Leon).

Malawi’s Natasha has proved a force to reckon with as she has been saved three times by Africa, while Dillish is also a strong contender.
For those who want to vote for Pokello and Hakeem they can SMS, the words “VOTE POKELLO” or “VOTE HAKEEM” to short code numbers Econet 33334, Netone 15626, Telecel 15626 or log on onto the Big Brother website and vote.
