Frank Banda increased Zimbabwe’s lead in the 65th minute after squeezing the ball past Yengo and the final nail for DRC came in the 83rd minute following some good build-ups with Mutizirwa on hand to drill it home.
Zimbabwe assistant coach Peter Phiri paid tribute to his players for sticking to their game plan by taking the game to their opponents.
