Zim tops global porn rankings

TWENTY-SIX percent of the Zimbabwe adult population watch pornography, which is the global average of porn viewers on popular website Pornhub.

In Africa, Zimbabwe is equated to countries like Zambia, Angola, Mozambique and Malawi, just outside the top 20.

At number 20 there is South Africa who according to pornhub prefer searching aï¿½?ebonyaï¿½?.

South Africans apparently like searching the cowgirl position aï¿½ï¿½ both front and reverse.

Porn illegal in Zimbabwe

The Zimbabweaï¿½ï¿½s Censorship and Entertainment Act (which was instituted back in 1967), makes it illegal to import, print, publish, manufacture, make or produce, distribute, display, exhibit or sell or offer or keep for sale any publication or anything that is deemed by the Censorship Board to be indecent.

This means that sharing that lewd WhatsApp video or picture, or having it in your possession (including your phone) or making such content (you shouldnaï¿½ï¿½t be making those aï¿½?home videosaï¿½?) is an offence.

Anyone who is caught violating this can be fined or imprisoned for up to one year.

Popular searches

The average time spent on the site has increased by 16 seconds to nine minutes 36 seconds aï¿½ï¿½ with the Philippines maintaining the top porn-obsession spot, an honour they bagged in 2015 with an average time spent watching the videos, of 12 minutes 45 seconds.

Other countries among the highest number of visits are the US, UK, Canada, India, Japan, France, Germany, Australia, Italy and Brazil, all in the top 10.

The most popular time for porn viewing is between 10pm and 1am, which means at least most people are not viewing porn at work.

India and Germany are very patriotic, with Indian and German being very popular searches in those countries.

Australians were all about Virtual Reality, while Italians were going mad for the category Milf.
