THE third edition of the Zimbabwe Business Expo is set to be held in Harare next month after the successful hosting of the second edition in Bulawayo last year, which was officially opened by Vice President, Kembo Mohadi.

According to organizers, this year’s event will run under the theme: “Harnessing Zimbabwe’s Industrial and Innovative Capacity towards Vision 2030”, which should provide a unique opportunity for face-to-face business dialogue, direct sales, and enhanced brand visibility.

In a statement, Zimbabwe Business Expo chairman Mr Gilbert Sawana said local businesses should utilise the platform to forge beneficial synergies that foster long-term growth.

He said businesses will gain valuable insights into their competitors and learn from visitors.

“Last year’s edition was held in Bulawayo, and this year’s event will take place in Harare on March 14th in Harare under the theme: ‘Harnessing Zimbabwe’s Industrial and Innovative Capacity Towards Vision 2030,” said Mr Sawana.

“The theme highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving economic growth. As such, let us work together to propel Zimbabwe’s economy forward.”

He said the business expo comes at a time when the Second Republic has fostered a culture of hard work and productivity since its inception, transforming various industries into optimal performers.

Mr Sawana said the upward economic trajectory was expected to continue given Government’s continuing efforts to create an enabling environment.

“We acknowledge the efforts of individuals and organisations that have excelled, innovated, and contributed significantly to our nation’s development, driving us closer to achieving an upper-middle-income society by 2030,” he said.

“Vision 2030 is a powerful catalyst for socio-economic change in Zimbabwe, and we must recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations that have excelled in developing our country through this policy.”

He said the Zimbabwe Business Expo aims to celebrate industry players’ achievements, reward excellence, and encourage continued innovation.

Mr Sawana urged the local businesses to leverage the expo to market their products and services, expand their business footprint, and contribute to Zimbabwe’s economic growth in line with the National Development Strategy 1.-@SikhulekelaniM1
