Zimbabwe Drawn in Group A for COSAFA U17 Qualifiers

HOSTS Zimbabwe will compete in Group A at the 2026 TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifiers, taking place in Harare from September 11–20, 2025.

The Young Warriors are joined by Mozambique, Comoros, and Eswatini in what promises to be a competitive group. Only the group winners and the best second-placed team will advance to the semifinals.

Zimbabwe, seeded as hosts, will aim to capitalize on home support to reach the knockout stage and qualify for the CAF U17 AFCON, a stepping stone to the FIFA U17 World Cup, now expanded to 48 teams with 10 African slots.
