BABA Harare reckons his seventh album, titled ‘‘Zimbabwe Giant’’, is one that people can easily relate to.
In an interview with H-Metro, Baba Harare said the album focuses on love relationships.
“Right now, I am working on an album called Zimbabwe Giant.
“The album mostly talks about love. I chose to do an album about love because it does not expire.”
He added: “Love is part of our everyday lives and it is good.
“It is also something that everyone can easily relate to.”
The jiti singer said his album was laden with mainly party songs.
“Zimbabwe Giant comes with eight different tracks.
“It is scheduled for release in the first week of November,” he said.
The crooner said this album also comes loaded with collaborations.
“On this album I worked with different artists.
“I worked on tracks with ExQ, Jah Prayzah, Blot, Mai TT and Freeman.
“I also worked with Dan Lu from Malawi, on one of the songs,” he said.
He deemed this album different from the rest.
“To date, I have released six albums namely Chikwama Changu, Minamato Yemarasta, Ramba Wakadzvanya, Izvi Zvinoitirwei Izvi, Generator and Vaccine.
“Zimbabwe Giant is going to be my seventh one.
“What makes this seventh one different is that I collaborated with some of the big musicians in the country.
“Also, there is a new feel of Afro beats that comes with high quality videos, so it is a very different album,” he told H-Metro.
Asked what he has planned for the remaining quarter of the year, he said:
“Right now, I am focusing on my album and the album launch.
“I am also working on visuals for the album,” he said.
