Zimbabwe’s handball team in another defeat

ZIMBABWE men’s junior side is finding the going tough at the ongoing International Handball Federation Trophy Africa after suffering their third defeat on Monday at the Ethiopian Sports Academy in Addis Ababa.

Zimbabwe lost 23-55 to Rwanda.

It was their third straight loss at the continental phase tournament featuring junior (Under-20) and youth (Under-18) teams.

Speaking after their loss to Rwanda, coach Tafadzwa Madure conceded defeat.

“The team tried to step up but we couldn’t match the Rwanda side. Learning is the most important thing now,” he said.

They wrap up their games on Tuesday against Guinea.
