Zimbabwe’s universities join forces to boost internet connectivity for research

INSTITUTIONS of higher learning in the country have partnered with Internet Society Foundation to tackle internet bottlenecks for research and development.

Solusi University, hosted the inaugural Low Earth Orbiting Technologies workshop this week.

This saw Zimbabwe research network- ZIMREN, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Lupane State University (LSU), Gwanda State University (GSU), Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT) and service providers come together to work on augmenting existing internet infrastructure with LEO Technologies
