Zimpapers Byo branch donates to triplets

ZIMPAPERS Bulawayo Branch on Thursday donated clothes and groceries to the Khumalo family which was blessed with triplets that were born at Mpilo Central Hospital in Bulawayo last week.
The group is expected to make another donation to a Matopo family which welcomed triplets into their family last month.

Chronicle deputy editor Innocent Madonko, handed over the assortment of goods that included nappies, clothes, laundry and bath soap.

The media group also gave the family some cash to cater for the babies’ other needs and will do the same today at Matopo.

Madonko said the media group saw the need to sacrifice and donate to the families.

“With our meagre resources, we felt that there was a need to assist the families to take care of these babies,” he said.

The triplets’ mother Buhlebenkosi Khumalo, 29, expressed gratitude to the company for helping her take care of her first babies.
