ZIMPAPERS yesterday launched a new sport Internet product, Sportszone, at the Rainbow Towers. It’s meant to compliment the hardcopy editions published by the group.
There will be in-depth coverage, analysis, live blogs, discussions on hot topics, breaking news, player transfers and club guides on a real-time basis on the platform.
Readers will also have the opportunity to make contributions through the feedback forum.
The website was on a trial during the month of September.
Sportszone editor Augustine Hwata said the platform was a must-visit site for all sport enthusiasts.
“The website will cover everything from schools sport to all local and international events and it will be available 24/7 throughout the week on a real-time basis.
“We also have a video and audio service that allows audiences to listen and watch sporting events.
“We are now in the digital era so this innovation will make it easier for our customers, especially the sports fans, to have easy access to information through their mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other gadgets,” said Hwata
The website is available on www.sportszone.co.zw
