Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Monica Mutsvangwa with NAC awards print media category winner first runner up, Andile Tshuma

“I am delighted to have been awarded the best prize under the print media category. It’s an honour to be recognised for work around HIV and Aids. I believe the HIV story is one that must not die as it is a topical issue as Zimbabwe and the rest of the world seek to achieve an HIV-free generation by 2030. I encourage journalists to continue writing articles around HIV and how it is affecting other sectors such as business and sport. The award is a result of team work, between me as a reporter and the whole editorial line.”
Tshuma said:

“It’s very encouraging when our efforts are recognised as health reporters and this motivates us to ensure that the HIV story continues to be told. I’m grateful to the Chronicle newsroom team, for all the guidance as every win is possible through the contributions of others. I’m also grateful for my family that is always so supportive.”
