Zimpapers shine at Zimbabwe CEO’s Network awards

The country’s largest integrated media house, Zimpapers last night shone at the Zimbabwe Chief Executive Officers network awards after grabbing three accolades.

Zimpapers chief executive Mr Pikirayi Deketeke was the winner of the public sector leader award with The Sunday Mail editor Mrs Victoria Ruzvidzo winning the best outstanding leader in business award.

Kwayedza personal assistant to the editor Phillipa Chinhoyi won the outstanding women leader in the best Personal Assistants category.

Musician Plaxedes Machuma (popularly known as Plaxedes Wenyika) was the guest of honour at the colourful awards held at a local hotel last night.

Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister Mary Mliswa-Chikoka attended the occasion in which her sister Ms Nomhle Maggie Mliswa was among the winners in outstanding women in business category.

Among other notable winners there was Gweru businesswoman Dr Smelly Dube who also won the best outstanding leader in business award.
