THE Zimbabwe School Examination Council (ZIMSEC) has announced the registration fees for O-Level and A-Level exams for June and November this year.

June exam fees payments are to be made from March 13-20 and for the November exam, payment dates are from March 19-26.

The fees are pegged in US dollars, with public schools and not-for-profit mission schools paying US$11 per subject for O-Level, while private schools and candidates will pay US$24.

For A-Level, public schools and not-for-profit mission schools will pay US$22 per subject, while private schools and candidates will pay US$48.

Payments can be made in any currency, and the exchange rate for Zim dollar payments will be confirmed by ZIMSEC.

The Government subsidy does not apply to retaking candidates, and candidates should have fulfilled the CALA requirements before sitting for the exams.

“BEAM does not support retake examinations; and candidates should have fulfilled the CALA requirements for them to sit for the June and November examinations.

“Stakeholders are encouraged to contact their respective centres for registration closing dates to avoid any inconvenience,” said ZIMSEC in a statement.
