OVER 4 000 teachers from Zimbabwe’s 10 provinces will converge at the National Sports Stadium for the fifth edition of the Zimbabwe Teachers Colleges Sports Association Games this morning.

The four-day competition will start with athletics on the first day.

The other sporting disciplines slated for this event include football, netball, rugby, basketball, volleyball, handball, hockey, golf , softball, cricket and table tennis.

ZITCOSA president, Edward Chekure, said the preparations have been going well and some of the participants started arriving at Belvedere Technical Teachers Training College yesterday.

“We are happy with our preparations and we have everything in place, we are expecting a huge turn-out.”
