Versatile artiste Mzoe7, a familiar face at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) over the years, who at one point, embarked on a mission to welcome visitors to the city, has urged fellow creatives not to miss out on opportunities presented by annual exhibitions like the trade fair.

The artiste was seen moving around the exhibition grounds on Monday, interacting with exhibitors and visitors at different stands. True to his creative nature, Mzoe7 often turned ordinary interactions into spontaneous moments of performance, drawing attention wherever he went.

At several stands, he engaged with products in a lively and expressive way, attracting small crowds and leaving a lasting impression. His presence gave the impression he had been booked at multiple locations, despite simply networking and exploring. That is typical of Mzoe7, whose ability to naturally command attention has helped him secure performances and endorsement deals over the years, opportunities he hopes to grow further during this year’s ZITF.

In an interview, he said each edition of the fair offers new experiences.
“Growing up, we used to visit ZITF purely for fun, but over time, I’ve come to appreciate the business side of the exhibition. Like in previous years, I’m a full participant, involved in different branding and marketing activities,” he said.

“I’m also one of the performers at the unofficial ZITF shutdown party, the Harris Music Festival, which I believe will be the highlight of the closing events, given its strong line-up. Fans can expect a polished performance from me,” he said.

Mzoe7 also encouraged fellow creatives to take exhibitions seriously, saying they offer valuable networking and branding opportunities. He said events like ZITF should not be missed, as they can open doors for growth in the creative industry.
