PARIS. — Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane has named the three stars he loves to watch, including an under-fire English Premier League soccer player. The Frenchman has admitted he enjoys watching Chelsea’s Eden Hazard in action, although he’s third after FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Real’s Cristiano Ronaldo. “After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play,” he told Sky Sports.
“Do I see him going to Real Madrid? I love the player, that’s all I will say. “I have no doubt he’ll be back (to the top).” Hazard has been linked with Los Blancos and Barcelona in recent weeks, with reports claiming the player is not getting along with Blues manager Jose Mourinho.
The Belgian was voted as the best player in England last season, but in this campaign, he’s been a shadow of his former self. The winger has played 18 times for Chelsea this season, and has contributed just three assists. — AFP.
