They are Lance Corporal Tonderayi Clive Dongo (the troop medic), Officer Cadets Mbuso Kingdom Nyoni and Donald Masenha.

Director Army Public Relations officer Lieutenant Colonel Alphios Makotore said the 55 that were injured were still in hospital.

Parirenyatwa Hospital has six, New Cranborne Barracks Camp Hospital (15), Army Headquarters Camp Hospital (26) and Parachute Regiment Camp Hospital (eight).

Lt Col Makotore said among the injured officer cadets, two were from the Namibia Defence Forces on an officer cadet exchange training programme.

“The condition of all the injured is reported to be stable and their parents now know the respective condition of their sons and daughters,” he said.

“The latest reports indicate that 16 of the injured were treated and discharged from hospital and there are no more admitted members in Kariba.”

The bus had 74 passengers en-route to an adventure training exercise in the Zambezi Valley and Makuti area.

The luxury military coach overturned in Marongora general area on Monday morning after the driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve.

Funeral arrangements would be announced in due course.
