Zoey fears white dancers

ADULT entertainer Noleen Zoey Sifelani, who will be heading for a debut performance in South Africa next week, says she is afraid of white pole dancers.
The fiery pole dancer, who was based in South Africa before launching the dances in the country, is set to perform in Cape Town next week Friday.

In an interview, the Harare-based performer admitted that although she was known as the mother of pole dancing in Zimbabwe, she was no match for white perfomers.

“I am going to South Africa to market my album Totsemukira as well showcase our dances. I am not scared of fellow blacks like me but I must admit that I am scared of the white perfomers.

“They are talented and very flexible, much more than us, so I am hoping they won’t be there, otherwise they will dampen our spirit,” said Zoey.

The Sexy Angels leader said she would be taking two of her best performers to Cape Town.
She said she was invited by South African-based Zimbabwean, Joe Masave, who owns Jimmy Jimalo Club in Cape Town and they will also perform at Club 7 in the same city.

“This is a good opportunity for me because Masave has also organised interviews with some of South Africa’s radio stations that play Zimbabwean music,” she said.

Zoey launched her eight-track album, Totsemukira in February. The raunchy pole dancer’s album features talented chanter Gift Katulika aka Shiga Shiga and Sulumani Chimbetu.

The pole dancer said she was working on taking her music to the people through public shows.
“I have been in the music industry since 2012. I have worked with Rockfort “Roki” Josphats and many other artistes as both a dancer and backing vocalist so I can perform at any public gathering,” she added.
