Zoey is set for a date at Plumtree’s Kombani Lodge tonight while Bev’s performance is scheduled for tomorrow night at popular nightspot Jabula Inn.
The show in Plumtree will be the controversial performer’s second performance in the town. Her performance on the day will offer first-hand experience to the people of Plumtree to see if the dancer’s now famous on-stage antics have undergone any change since her detention together with compatriot Bev by the police.
In an interview, coordinator of the event Faith Dube promised fireworks saying that Zoey, together with her compatriot Bev, were major attractions at the present moment and people had a lot to look forward to.
“This will be a big show because we have seen how the profile of the two dancers has risen this year. People should look forward to a great show because Zoey has never disappointed wherever she has performed and she has promised fireworks for tonight’s performance,” he said.
Meanwhile manager of Bev and her Sexy Angels, Harpers Mapimhidze, confirmed the show in Esigodini saying fans should look out for new routines from the dancer as she had been fine-tuning her act in recent times.
“People should look out for a new and improved Bev because she has been working on her skills and that is one surprise that fans that shall be in attendance will have to wait for,” he said.
Last week members of the Sexy Angels were reportedly involved in running battles with members of rival dance group Malaika. Mapimhidze confirmed the incident but said none of the group members had been seriously injured, hence they were fit and raring to go for their performance in Esigodini.
“The fight was between the girls and other dancers from Malaika and yes I can confirm that it was over a guy, who also happens to dance for Malaika. However none of the girls sustained serious injuries and they will be able to perform on Saturday without any major problems,” he said.
