Zifa Southern Region Division One pacesetters ZPC Hwange will tomorrow entertain newbies Zebra Revolution at Chakona ground in a potentially exciting Week 11 tie.
ZPC Hwange are yet to taste defeat in the 10 rounds of play and Zebra Revolution are smarting from a 4-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of fellow new boys Victoria Falls City.
“We are learning and part of learning is winning games and losing games. We took the loss on our chins like men and we are looking forward to the next game. Facing log leaders, we are going into the game knowing that we are playing a team in form. Ten wins in a row is a tremendous achievement for them.
Our main focus will be playing our brand of football and not changing the way we play. It is important that we understand what team we are facing and continue to improve on our game. We have been working hard at training and we are very much hopeful that the boys will rise to the occasion against the log leaders,” said Zebra Revolution head coach, Mkhokheli Dube.
Last weekend, ZPC Hwange beat Adachi 2-0 to take their points tally to 30 points, 11 ahead of 11 points ahead of second placed Casymn who beat second from the bottom-placed Ajax Hotspurs 1-0. Casymn will on Saturday take on Bulawayo City at Luveve Stadium while army side Jordan Sinnot take Mosi Rovers at Brady Barracks.
Bottom placed Bosso 90 will take on Adachi at White City B Arena. Mpopoma based Ajax Hotspurs have a date with Nkayi United at White City Stadium.
Filabusi’s Mthwakazi ground will be the venue for the game between Jordan Sinnot and DRC United. Mainline will square it off at Talen Vision at Plumtree’s Dingumuzi Stadium. Victoria Falls City have a home engagement against former Premier Soccer League side Zimbabwe Saint at Chinotimba Stadium.
