ZPC Kariba defender, Boid Mutukure, believes their two-game unbeaten run will be under a heavy threat when they meet Herentals at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.
Mutukure has played every minute and he has been one of the club’s best players in the past few seasons.
Kauya Katuruturu survived a relegation scare last campaign.
They appear to have shrugged it off by claiming seven points in their first four fixtures.
The towering defender admitted that the Students’ attack poses a real threat even though they have not won in their first four games.
“We are playing a good team, they are a balanced team and on their day they can cause harm.
“They might not have started well but that doesn’t reduce their capabilities and we just have to go there and play according to our coach’ instructions for us to extend our unbeaten run.
“They are more dangerous upfront but we are not going to sit back and watch them play as they please,” said Mutukure.
He added:
“We were in a lengthy relegation fight last season and I feel like we really learnt a lesson.
“This season we are going to try our best to finish in a respectable place and everyone knows that this should happen without any excuses.
“I think we have adjusted well at the National Sports Stadium, it’s slowly feeling like our home.
“Our job is to get the results.”
