This important day highlights the significance of assistive technology in enhancing the lives of persons with disabilities, promoting inclusivity, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

ZSAPD wrote that they recognise the transformative power of sport, and assistive technology plays a vital role in enabling persons with disabilities to access sport and physical activity, which promotes inclusivity and equality.

“Through our programmes we provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in sport, build confidence and develop sense of purpose,” reads the statement.
