Delta’s lager volumes grew 23 percent for the full year to March 31, 2012 bolstered by capacity enhancement and improved availability.
Delta had a volume growth focus of between 17 to 20 percent to the full year.
TN Holdings rose US0,40c to US3,90c while FBC Holdings advanced US0,05c to settle at US6c. FBC is understood to be the weighing options of merging its building society and commercial bank.
Retailer OK Zimbabwe was down US0,51c to US10c.
It is another week characterised by subdued trading activity as the daily average value traded failed to breach the US$500 000 mark.
Analysts say with liquidity shortages remaining a topical issue that is negatively impacting the performance of the bourse and the economy, there is a general view that the speeding up of the constitution-making process, coupled with the holding of free and fair elections may aid investor confidence.
All parties in the inclusive Government have confirmed that elections would be held this year.
There is a view that the current uncertainties and failure to come up with investor protection policies was also contributing to low foreign investor participation.
