ZTA to exhibit in China

travel agents, hotels, airlines and related travel companies the world over.

The exhibition opens tomorrow at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre in Shanghai and ends on November 18. Yesterday ZTA head of corporate and communications Mr Sugar Chagonda said CITM was important to the extent that countries scrambled for exhibition place.

“ZTA is leading a delegation exhibiting at CITM for the eighth consecutive year. There is no country serious about tourism that does not attend CITM.
“This is a big annual event where countries compete for exhibition space and we are proud to have once again acquired space.

“With the Chinese economy emerging to be the fastest growing one, it is critical to capture that market and our continued exhibition at CITM has manifested in the large number of Chinese investments in the tourism and hospitality industry in Zimbabwe and elsewhere in business,’’ said Mr Chagonda.

Mr Chagonda said the exhibition afforded the Zimbabwean delegation the opportunity to meet stakeholders and establish business contacts.
CITM is one of the leading and fastest-growing travel fairs in the industry which has attained high ranking in Asia and has become an important and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions.
