11 counts of unlawful entry

A 27-YEAR- OLD man appeared in court on 11 counts of unlawful entry.

Tatenda Nherera was remanded in custody when he appeared before Harare magistrate, Tafadzwa Miti, yesterday.

He will be back in court today for bail consideration.

Allegations are that on an unknown date, Nherera hatched a plan to steal electrical gadgets in offices around the central business district.

On the first count, Nherera allegedly unlawfully entered Ngonidzashe Chamunorwa’s office at  Silundika  House and stole four cellphones, five gift cards and a pack of cutting blades.

It is further alleged Nherera unlawfully entered Ratidzo Hove’s office at Market House and stole two computers and a bluetooth speaker.

On the third count, Nherera unlawfully entered photographer Leon Chakanyuka’s office and stole camera equipment and two computers.

It alleged that on the other eight counts, Nherera used the same tactic until he was arrested on Monday.
