Masvingo-Beitbridge Highway last month are free after the State withdrew charges against them.
The teachers, Gladys Macheke (30), Patience Chikutire (26), Viona Gijima (27), Jeniffer Runopamara (28) of Rata Primary School in Mwenezi and Etina Chinooneka (24) and Mugove Dube of Marawa Primary School in Mwenezi had their charges withdrawn last week.
Other teachers set free were Tendeukai Mhlanga (55), Innocent Madumba (26), Everest Masiyachawana (34) of Musaverengwa Primary school and Zebed Dzinovatonga (23), Benjamin Moyo (40), Douglas Mukogo (34) of Shazharume Secondary were facing theft charges.
The case was dropped due to lack of incriminating evidence.
The State led by Mr Stanley Mafoko withdrew the charges against the 13 when they appeared before Chivi magistrate Mr Stanley Mambanje.
They had been accused of stealing 93 kilogrammes of cornflakes from a haulage truck that had been involved in an accident.
The teachers pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Mr Mafoko however, told the court that there was not enough evidence that the teachers had stolen the cornflakes and stashed them in a commuter omnibus they were travelling in.
