17 arrested for taking pictures at accident scene

Zimbabweans have praised the police after they arrested seventeen people for taking pictures and videos with their smartphones at a road traffic accident scene.

The seventeen individuals were arrested today while filming a road accident that occurred in Harare CBD.

According to H-Metro, the accident happened when a commuter omnibus was hit by a truck after failing to observe a traffic light at the intersection of Robert Mugabe and Second Street.
The kombi driver was reportedly manhandled after attempting to flee from the accident scene.
