It is the State’s case that on 18 January 2018, the two in the company of other two persons still at large assaulted Mthokozisi Sithole (23) of Gibson Village in Avoca with logs.
The incident that occured near Avoca Diptank comes barely weeks after another man was brutally killed in a misunderstanding over snooker in Filabusi.
The prosecutor, Mr Job Mutero, said Mthokozisi Sithole was assaulted all over the body by the accused who were accusing him of stealing a dog and a satchel. The accused persons and their accomplices who are still at large were furious about losing the dog and satchel sometime ago.
On realising that Sithole was dead, they allegedly dumped his body at a nearby bush and fled from the scene.-@mthabisi_mthire
