A BULAWAYO artist who was based at Richmond Dumpsite, commonly known as Ngozi mine, has  seen his works being recognised after the National Gallery in Bulawayo allocated a studio for him to carry on with his works and groom up-and-coming artists.
The artist, Leonard Dube, went to Mzilikazi Art and Craft Centre in 1979 at the age of 15. His art is contemporary and is based on preservation of African heritage, historical and cultural  related activities of Africa and Southern Africa in particular.
