Council summons director of housing over stands

THE stringent conditions set by the Bulawayo City Council for the allocation and sale of housing stands will top the agenda at next week’s full council meeting, Bulawayo Mayor Councillor Thaba Moyo said yesterday.
In an interview, Clr Moyo said the council had summoned the director of housing and community services, Mr Isaiah Magagula to give a report and update councillors on the issue.
Last week the council reportedly came up with stringent conditions for allocating and selling housing stands. The local authority is demanding a deposit of $4 200 for a stand in the new medium density
