Beitbridge ReporterPOLICE in Beitbridge have arrested 54 suspects during the Easter holiday anti-crime operation in the border town.
The officer commanding police in Beitbridge District, Chief Superintendent Lawrence Chinhengo, said the arrests were made between Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Among those arrested were robbers, conmen and bogus clearing agents targeting travellers passing through the border post.

CONFUSION reared its ugly head ahead of the start of the athletics segment at the fifth edition of the Zimbabwe National Paralympic Games in Hwange yesterday.
Despite assurances by veteran National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe events specialist, Aeneas Nhoro, chaos hit the discipline at Hwange Colliery Stadium.
