Adults urged to donate blood

DONATING blood is everyone’s responsibility which should not be left to the youths only as all  Zimbabweans must take ownership of donating blood and improve the adult donor base, Bulawayo Governor Ambassador Cain Mathema has said.

Ambassador Mathema said this during the Matabeleland region World Donor Day commemorations held in Bulawayo last  Friday.

Tobacco sales slow down as season end draws nearer

Daily tobacco sales at the auction floors have started going down as the selling season nears an end, the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board has said.

TIMB said tobacco sales on day 82 declined to 812 884 kilogrammes compared to 1 434 419kg recorded on day 75.
