MDC-T councillors have of late been hogging the limelight for the wrong reasons. Recently the party fired 12 councillors for corruption. Some of the dismissed councillors who include the Mayor of Gweru, Clr Tedius Chimombe and the Deputy Mayor of Harare, Clr Emmanuel Chiroto are reported to have become filthy rich overnight.
