THE Zimbabwe Miners’ Federation (ZMF) chief executive officer Mr Wellington Takavarasha has resigned to join the recently established Zimbabwe Artisanal and Small-Scale for Sustainable Mining Council (ZASMC).

In a statement, he said his resignation was with effect from 17 January and was joining the mining council as president.

HIGHLANDERS FC will use next Wednesday’s international friendly match against Mamelodi Sundowns at Barbourfields Stadium to prepare for next month’s Bob Super Cup tournament against Dynamos.

The Bob Super Cup competition is part of the celebrations to mark President Robert Mugabe’s 89th birthday on 21 February.

This year’s final will be played over two legs with Barbourfields Stadium playing host to the first leg on 10 February with the final leg set for Rufaro Stadium a fortnight later on 24 February.
