THE Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Wheelchair Tennis Association has called on the corporate world to assist them with funding to enable them to improve on their world rankings.
Bosso elect treasurer, vice chairman

HARARE-based businessman Mgcini Mpofu was yesterday elected Highlanders vice chairman and Jerry Sibanda was elected treasurer.
The elections were held at the Highlanders Clubhouse with 224 bona-fide members casting their votes for the vice-chairman and treasurer. Only two people abstained from voting.

INDIGENOUS churches should be respected and given sufficient support to ensure total indigenisation and empowerment in the country, Youth, Indigenisation and Empowerment Minister Saviour Kasukuwere said yesterday.
Addressing hundreds of congregants during the Guta RaMwari Zvimiso 53rd anniversary of the advent of the second Host of God in Mpopoma, Bulawayo, Minister Kasukuwere said it was important for churches, especially those started by local people, to be given adequate support to make sure that there was total economic empowerment in the country.
