More than 20 artistes converged for the 21st February Movement Gala to celebrate President Robert Mugabe at Marondera Country Club on Sunday night.
The musicians who included Sandra Ndebele, Jah Prayzah, Nicholas Zakaria, Killer T, Mathias Mhere, Romeo Gasa, Douglas Chimbetu, Shinsoman and Soul Jah Love among others put up scintillating performances.

Bulawayo-based singer Ndebele opened the show with her hit songs before leaving fans in awe with breathtaking dances.

The energetic musician later paved way for Jah Prayzah who dished out some of his ‘most wanted’ songs such as “Tsviriyo”, “My Love” and “Mwanasikana”.

The award winner took the opportunity to announce the release date of his next album called “Kumbumura Mhute”.

He kept the revelers on their feet when his band mimicked some army drills.

On gospel note, prolific musician Mhere belted out songs from his first album “Anoita Minana” leaving fans asking for more.

Fans could not get enough of the musician and begged him to come back on stage after his time had lapsed.

King Shady who had set the bar high at another bash in Harare failed to maintain the standards he had set for himself. Killer T became the winner of the night as his song “Makarova Ganaz” became an anthem among the crowds.

Zakaria took the stage after the young musician and he tried maintain the momentum set by the performers.

Some revellers told The Herald Entertainment that they had walked some 13km from Macheke and Waddilove, which is about 16 kilometres from the town to attend the gala.
