65-year-old man rapes nieces aged 3, 6

He was remanded out of custody to February 13.
In his defence, he told the court that he knew nothing of the alleged sexual abuse.
Circumstances are that sometime in March last year, the girl’s mother left her daughters at home with their grandfather when she went to Mbare Musika.
The man, it is alleged, took advantage of the situation and called the two girls to his bedroom.
He raped them one after the other.
The court heard that the man promised to buy the girls some sweets.
The matter came to light when the girls’ mother was bathing them when she noted that the three-year-old was discharging some white substance from her private parts.
The girls revealed the sexual abuse after they were questioned by their mother.
